Stop chips, cracks and broken windscreens before
they happen with our Diamond Glass strengthener!
Diamond Glass strengthener solution is designed to significantly increase windshield strength and decrease chipping and cracking due to impact from road debris and pressure caused by body flexing against the edges of the glass.
Once applied, Diamond Glass penetrates the glass surface, identifying and repairing the inherent microscopic flaws and defects that are a natural part of every piece of glass by covalently bonding with those surface imperfections. Left untreated, those inherent defects weaken the glass structure and ultimately result in the failure (cracking or breaking) of the glass.
Diamond Glass is NOT a window film. It is a liquid chemical solution that once applied, cures to an invisible finish to help protect a windshield from chips and cracks.
It does not alter the look, clarity, reflectivity, or light transmission of the windshield.
In addition, it has a hydrophobic (water repellent) quality that helps water to bead up and run-off to improve driver visibility in wet weather conditions.

Upon application, Diamond Glass deeply penetrates the glass surface, detecting and repairing the inherent microscopic flaws and defects that are inherent to all glass. Without intervention, these defects compromise the structural integrity of the glass, leading to eventual failure, such as cracking or breaking.
Prevention is key in a landscape where vehicle technology is advancing rapidly, Diamond Glass provides a cost-effective alternative to the complexities, time constraints, and expenses associated with windscreen repair and replacements.
With the prevalence of Advanced Driver Assistance (“ADAS”) Systems, the installation process has evolved beyond mere replacement. Recalibration, often taking up to four hours and sometimes requiring the expertise of a qualified Mechanic or Auto Technician, adds another layer of challenges.
If glass is not properly disposed of it can have several negative environmental impacts contributing to waste-to-landfill.
Manufacturing new glass requires resources such as sand, soda ash and limestone, the process of extracting these resources contribute to habitat distraction, water pollution and energy consumption.
The production process for glass involves significant energy consumption mainly during the melting and shaping process. Recycling glass still requires energy for collection, transportation, processing and remanufacturing into new products.
Diamond Glass solution covalently bonds to and repairs these flaws and defects, reinforcing the strength of the glass for enhanced durability and resilience.
A patented product offer consumers complete confidence in the reliability and authenticity of the product they are purchasing.
For a product to be approved by the US Patent Office, it requires rigorous testing and scientific evidence to prove the product does what it claims.
To obtain each patent the manufacturer was required to conduct and document accepted industry testing and methods to validate the effectiveness and reliability of this technology for all 22 patents.
The initial technology development was completed in cooperation with Rice University’s Chemical & Materials Engineering Departments and the product has been tested and validated by independent, third-party glass industry laboratories.
The original testing was executed in accordance with government, law enforcement, and industry standards including :
AutoGuardian /Diamond Glass are the only approved Australian supplier and have a distribution agreement to validate.
Diamond Glass is a two-stage glass strengthening solution.
Diamond Glass Stage 1: Hydrophobic bond causes water to bead and slide off glass, improving driver visibility and safety.
Diamond Glass Stage 2: Glass strengthening bond penetrates the glass surface to identify and repair microscopic flaws and defects reducing the likelihood of chipping and cracking.
Once cured, it dries to an invisible finish and becomes a part of the glass’s structure.
How It Works? When Stage 2 Glass strengthening treatment is applied, it’s compounds chemically bond with the glass surface, covalently bonding and repairing microscopic flaws which weaken glass.
What it is NOT: Diamond Glass is NOT a surface coating or a film that rests on the surface and can age, discolour, wear off or otherwise deteriorate in various ways over time.
Once cured Diamond Glass dries to an invisible finish without aging or altering the look, clarity, reflectivity or light transmission of the windscreen and becomes a permanent part of the glass structure without any degradation or change in appearance.
In collaboration with AutoGuardian, CB nanoShield, LLC has facilitated the importation and enabled Diamond Glass to introduce this remarkable advancement to the market.
Diamond Glass is applied in two stages, the first stage being the Hydrophobic Safety Shield and the second stage is the Glass Strengthener. After a thorough clean Stage 1 can be poured onto a clean dry cloth and wiped over the surface of the glass ensuring a thin even coverage. Leave for two minutes and then polish dry.
Stage 2 can now be applied by spraying one half of the exterior of the clean and dry glass surface. After approximately 30 seconds, a squeegee is used to remove the excess liquid from the glass before using the same steps to treat the other half of the exterior of the glass. Best results are obtained when treatment is applied in a covered area out of direct sunlight, between 10°C and 32°C. More detail instructions can be found on the PDF below.
This suggests that excess Diamond Glass was applied or not properly squeegeed off the windshield before drying. Utilize a clean, dry microfiber cloth to eliminate any leftover residue. If necessary, lightly moisten the cloth before wiping off any haze, streaking, or residue. Hand-buff the glass surface with a clean, dry microfiber cloth. This process will not diminish the effectiveness of the Diamond Glass already bonded with the glass’s micro-fractures.
If the vehicle has been parked outside on a hot day and the windscreen exceeds 32°C, run the vehicle’s defroster with the A/C activated for 10 – 15 minutes to cool down the windshield before applying Diamond Glass. If the windscreen temperature is below 10°C, run the defroster on heat for 10 – 15 minutes to warm up the windscreen before applying the treatment.
You can drive the vehicle right after completing the application; however, it’s advisable to avoid driving in heavy rain conditions for the next 24 hours. If driving in such conditions is unavoidable, we suggest running the defroster on heat for 15 – 20 minutes after application to expedite the curing process and maximise the benefits of Diamond Glass before hitting the road.
Diamond Glass only interacts with glass, so it won’t stain or harm paint, rubber, plastic, chrome, or any other vehicle surfaces. Just wipe it off with a clean, dry cloth. If it’s difficult to remove, dampen a clean cloth and wipe it away. If necessary, buff the surface with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
During normal driving, a windscreen will continue to be impacted by road debris such as sand, dirt, stones, etc, all of which will continue to contribute to and generate new micro-imperfections in the glass surface.
– The body of the vehicle will also continue to vibrate and flex against the edges of the mounted glass, further aggravating and growing those imperfections.
– Periodic re-application with Diamond Glass will help treat those new imperfections before they can reduce the overall strength of the glass leading to chips and cracks.
For fleet vehicles currently experiencing a high number of windscreen damage incidences, we recommend re-application every 12 months (or every 100,000 km) to maintain adequate protection.
In 2021 Australians took 12.6 million trips in their caravans and campers, that’s an increase of 19% from 2020. Friends, families, couples, retirees and solo travellers spend 50.6 million nights out under the stars in their caravans or campers, and Queenslanders took out the title of most registrations with a huge 201,477 registrations in 2021!
